I have now successfully made sourdough bread 3 times! I’ve tried making yeast breads in the past and could never get the texture/ consistency where it should be. Who knew sourdough would be easier!? Love it and can’t wait to try kombucha next!

I abuse this starter a lot and it just keeps on going. You can leave it in the fridge for two or three weeks, feed it and it takes right off. As you can tell I'm not a by the book sourdough person but it sure works for me.

I purchased this Starter because my dried, at home, San Francisco Starter was struggling. Little activity after ten days of struggle. This product came with good instructions. I followed them exactly. This Cultures for Health, San Francisco Style, dried Starter activated very quickly and the bread I made, less than a week after receiving my order, turned out excellent. I am very happy with my purchase! My home dried Starter only bubbles when I threaten to throw it out. FYI... I have been making Sourdough bread for over ten years and have a total of three different Starters. I was really missing my San Francisco Style one until now.

Worked excellently for me. Took a little longer to activate than suggested but now working perfectly. Been using it twice a week for over 18 months. The bread is very tangy - delicious.

I had the starter srnt to me in mexico by my sister,and it was seized by mexican customs.apparently it is not legal here.If you know any way to get the starter to me in Mexico,please let me know. thank you
