Weigh down your fermented vegetables using this ceramic fermentation weight. Keeping vegetables weighted under the brine keeps the vegetables from drying out and can help prevent mold.
Thought x-large would fit a wide mouth gallon jar but too small so ordered another set and two sets seemed to work ok.
I bought a couple of these to try them and turns out they're the best!!!
Once my ferments really started releasing CO2, the weights were pushed up to the surface.
Very pleased with the size and weight of the purchase.
They didn't really work for me that well to keep the kimchi down in the jar. They aren't heavy enough.
