My grains turned to sand and did nothing. I used a combination of plain white cane sugar and raw sugar. Maybe the raw sugar had too many minerals. I used spring water as suggested.

The grains came and Instarted my water kefir and after a day they all died and shriveled and became powdery
The culture grains never grew. I followed the instructions and i didn’t get them to work.
When my Kefir grains arrived I followed the rehydrating instructions to the letter, but I had horrible results. The grains literally disinigrated within a couple of days. I immediately reached out for help to your company to correct what was going wrong and I never received any type of reply back and I tried several times to contact someone. Needless to say, the entire process was a complete failure and I was left on my own to try to figure out what was going on. I am not happy at all with my experience with your company. You won't be hearing from me again.
This was my second purchase of Water Kefir Grains. As with the previous purchase they did not work. This in spite of being in the same kitchen that happily supplies me with sourdough bread, kombucha, yogurt and honey mead. Followed directions carefully.
