  • USING THE FERMENTATION WEIGHTS
    Fermentation weights are ideal for whole or cut veggies. For shredded or very small pieces of cut up veggies, use multiple sets of weights, or use strips of a cabbage leaf criss crossed over the top of the veggies and tucked down the sides of the jar. Ensure the cabbage strips are well submerged under the brine.

      Love it!

      I love the fermented vegetable kit! It is easy to use and I had great results with the garlic sauerkraut recipe that came with the kits!

      Fermenting Vegie Kit

      Got this for my wife for Christmas. It is easy to use and, at least for the fermented carrots which is the only thing I have tried, the taste is incredible and, according to my wife, is loaded with probiotics which she claims I need.

      Disappointed

      Since I have never fermented vegetables, I needed better instructions and there weren’t good instructions for a very beginner. Also I specifically wanted to ferment broccoli, there was no instruction for broccoli!
