I have gone through 3 gallons of whole milk, tried three batches and nine has worked out. It’s runny and sticky..you could drink it...I’d love to send it back but my husband trashed the box...I used to make yogurt in a yogurt maker in the 80’s and it worked perfectly...and recently made it in my dehydrator...no problem, but I’m giving up a n this machine.
We're so sorry to hear your yogurt maker isn't working for you! Here's how you can test that it's holding the correct temperature: https://www.culturesforhealth.com/learn/yogurt/testing-yogurt-maker/ And please feel free to email - we have a way of getting our products working!
Was leery at first for the expense...but it works great and I don't have to worry! Perfect every time!
I have not received my order. Having trouble getting this done.
After adjusting the cover to get the right temperature for culturing it works great.
I've been making my own yogurt for years with a yogurt maker I picked up in a second-hand store. However, that maker went haywire awhile ago and overheated. I heard about Cultures for Health on a cooking show on NPR and got interested in the heirloom strains of yogurt. Before I had been mixing some of my favorite commercial brands as starter. The heirlooms were interesting, a little complicated by all the choices, but I didn't have a good way to keep them heated while culturing. So I tried the Yogotherm. But it is just too cold in my uninsulated house in the winter, I couldn't regularly get a good culture even by wrapping the Yogotherm in a down vest. Finally, I decided to order the Euro Cuisine Yogurt Maker. I have only tried it twice so far but it is so easy and fits well into my busy life. yummmm.
