Though following instructions carefully, my starter failed to activate successfully. I live at a high altitude and wonder if that affected the process.

This did not work for me- I have attempted twice now but with no success!
If I make anything out of the directions I got for this, I will be amazed! I was looking for Goldrush and didn’t find it so ordered this brand! Big mistake! I have been working with sourdough for years and years but thought I would get a new strain. Ridiculous directions! It turns out something like glue— good enough for Boeing airplane wing glue! I don’t know if I can get it to work or not. I’ll keep trying but don’t have high hopes!
