At first, we thought we were conned. It takes a few days to make kefir as we were told, but were in disbelief. After 7 days, we have healthy kefir grains. We make 16 oz daily using 2% milk after using whole milk at first. We basically now pay about $3 for a gallon of milk and get 4 quarts of kefir ($12-$16 retail). THANK YOU! The kit is awesome. A larger strainer would be cool, but besides that the directions and supplies really helped us make your kefir supply kit a one stop shop. The supplied strainer fits the Ball Mason jars nice, and we reused the plastic bottles from a commercial kefir producer to store the kefir. That's it, all the best to ya!
