    INGREDIENTS AND EQUIPMENT AVAILABLE AT CULTURES FOR HEALTH





    INGREDIENTS:

    • 2 large Granny Smith apples
    • 2 cups sauerkraut
    • 2 Tbsp. sunflower seeds
    • 2 tsp. olive oil
    • ½ cup chopped green onions

    INSTRUCTIONS:

    1. Peel and core the apple, and chop or grate it finely.
    2. Toss the apple and kraut together in a medium-sized bowl until evenly mixed. Let the mixture sit for a few minutes to let the juices and flavors blend.
    3. Toss in the remaining ingredients, and chill for a few hours before serving cold.
