    So Easy and So Delicious!

    I had not made sourdough bread in many years. Desired to make some over the holidays. Purchased gluten-free sourdough starter and followed the directions closely. My sourdough bread turned out very well, but I have to say the crackers and granola I made with the discard were equally fantastic! I served my sourdough discard crackers with pimento cheese for my mahjong group and they went wild. So many recipes can be made besides the obvious loaf of sourdough bread.

    The starter is activated and seems to be thriving. I've made one loaf of bread so far. The bread is moist and very tasty with a little tang. Probably needs to ferment longer and rise a little more. Back to the drawing board, eh?

    Great starter!

    Followed the directions and mine is growing, bubbly and happy! After 2 weeks we made our first loaf of bread, pancakes, crust on a skillet meal and so much more!
