This large, attractive, well constructed drawstring bag works very well for storing bread and transporting it. Attractive appearance, machine washed twice with no noticeable physical deterioration. A recommended purchase.
I bought this bag so I could stop using plastic bags to store my homemade bread. I was excited to use this bag but disappointed because my bread became hard and stale after 2 days of storing it in this cotton bag. I ended up returning the 2 bags I purchased for a refund. I would not recommend this bag to store fresh homemade bread.
This works well for bread storage but it comes with some sort of fragrant sizing on the bag that should probably be washed before use. After washing (on gentle cycle) the bag came out very wrinkled and definitely lost its’ nice look. I still recommend it over plastic though.
