I love the starter especially for pancakes and crepes. I also made the bread recipe I received with the starter. I would love to get a recipe for gluten free San Francisco style bread.

      disappointed

I followed the directions and never could get the starter activated. I asked for help repeatedly but it was too little and too late.

      Very little help

The starter did not activate although I followed the directions exactly. I asked customer support for help, but they merely wrote what was already on the website that I had already tried. I threw everything out.

      Weak starter

After following the instructions religiously, I made yet another sourdough brick. The starter didn't seem any stronger than if I had just done the old "wild yeast" procedure. Which also produces bricks.

      Customer Service is Terrible!!

I left several messages both voice mail and email and never heard back. I was having an issue with my starter and couldn't get any assistance. It was a total waste of money on not only the starter but the special brown rice flour I bought to activate it. Such a shame. I was really excited about this gluten free option and had no luck with it. Unless you know what you are doing don't buy from them.
