I haven't opened it yet. When I do & get started will be after Christmas is put away.
I worked with the starter for almost two weeks at 65 - 75 degrees but never could get a good fermentation going. I finally put the jar in my oven set to proof (about 90 degrees) and was finaly able to get the starter going properly. I may have to come up with a different solution because I can't have my oven "on" all the time just for this sourdough starter.
I'm so glad I purchased this! It made making sourdough bread a breeze! I highly recommend this for anyone wanting to make sourdough, as it will make their process so much easier.
