Fall is a perfect time for fragrant warm smoothie flavors. Use any winter squash in place of pumpkin and warm the smoothie just slightly on a cool evening.
- 1 cup yogurt, kefir, or buttermilk or a combination
- 2 Tbsp. organic pureed pumpkin
- Dash of vanilla extract
- Pinch of cinnamon and nutmeg or pumpkin pie spice to taste
- Add ingredients to a blender and process until smooth.
- Serve chilled or at room temperature.
- Serve topped with a dash of cinnamon sugar or whipped cultured cream.
